Are Imbōdhi's fabrics and dyes safe and environmentally friendly?Updated a day ago
At IMBŌDHI, we prioritize sustainability, safety, and quality in every step of our production process. Our fabrics and dyes meet strict environmental and safety standards to ensure they are both eco-friendly and safe for everyday wear.
Oeko-Tex 100 Certified Fabrics
Our fabrics are knit and dyed in the USA using Oeko-Tex 100 certified yarns. This certification ensures that no harmful substances are present in our materials, making them safe for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Azo-Free Dyes & No Harsh Chemicals
We use only azo-free dyes, meaning they do not contain harmful compounds commonly found in synthetic dyes. Additionally, we do not use pesticides or flame retardants in any of our materials.
Strict Environmental Regulations
Our dyehouse operates in Orange County, California, under stringent environmental laws. As part of compliance, wastewater samples are tested daily by a third-party laboratory, and reports are submitted monthly to the Orange County Sanitation District. This process ensures that all wastewater meets safety and environmental standards.
California Proposition 65 Compliance
IMBŌDHI fully complies with California’s Proposition 65, which requires businesses to minimize exposure to chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. We are committed to preventing any harmful substances from entering drinking water sources and maintaining the highest safety standards.
